Anyway, this is about my exception to not playing cartoons of people, goofy, silly, comedy games. This weekend we played a spoof "dungeon crawl" and laughed until we hurt. I like serious gaming, but every so often you just got to put on the chainmail bikini and blast goblins. winscp download

My review of Unhallowed Metropolis, Part I. Its only Part I because I haven't played/run it yet. But I'm really excited to, which you will be able to tell once you read the review. If you like dark, gritty games and/or are really into Steampunk/Victoriana, I think you'll really enjoy this game. I search for small business CRM somewhere on the web.

Sexual assault as character backstory or plot hook: Should you do it, as either player or GM? Is it ever ok? How can you do it sensitively? Why would you want to?

I've heard some people talk about female gamers not being into rolling dice that they'd rather spend their time role-playing. While I don't think it's a valid generalization, I wonder what types of conflict resolution systems Gamer Chicks enjoy. A conflict resolution system is how you accomplish things in an RPG that are not automatic like hitting the orc with your longsword or using your vampiric charm to influence the hapless mortal or making your character recall a piece of information you have forgotten.

This column is why I don't care for D20. Granted, as I say in the article, its mostly because I'm far more familiar with GURPS, but still, it sucks because there are some awesome settings in D20 I will probably never use.
